Big Valley had to endure a 12-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They breezed by the Dunsmuir Tigers to the tune of 52-18 on Monday. The Cardinals' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

When it comes to explaining why Dunsmuir lost, don't look at Cyla Clemens. Despite the final result, she posted 11 points. That was a full 61.1% of Dunsmuir's points, marking the fifth time in a row she's scored more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Devon Holland, who earned eight points.

Big Valley's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-8 and their overall record up to 3-14. As for Dunsmuir, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13.
