Recap: Arbor View Aggies vs. Centennial Bulldogs
On Tuesday, the Arbor View Aggies faced the Centennial Bulldogs in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Arbor View had just enough and edged Centennial out 57-55. The win was familiar territory for Arbor View who now have six in a row.
Arbor View got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Pharaoh Compton out in front who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds. Compton hasn't dropped below two blocks for six straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Brian ?Chef? Townsend, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.
Arbor View is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Centennial, they now have a losing record at 8-9.
Arbor View will be playing in front of their home fans against Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Valley will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Nevada Rankings (they are ranked 40th, while Arbor View is ranked third). As for Centennial, they will head out on the road to face off against Las Vegas at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
