Basketball Recap: American Fork's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

American Fork had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Weber Warriors by a score of 45-37 on Friday.

Weber lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Abby Sayer, who posted 15 points. Sayer is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Rylee Jugler, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine boards.

American Fork's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-8. As for Weber, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. American Fork will venture away from home to face off against Davis at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Davis will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something American Fork surely won't give up without a fight. As for Weber, they will square off against Riverton at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Riverton is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.7 points per game this season.
