Volleyball Recap: Jade Hagan and Kyra Ervin Secure Win for Northview

Northview won the last time they faced Defiance and things went their way on Saturday too. The Wildcats walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Bulldogs. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-23, 22-25, 25-17.

Leading Northview to victory were Kyra Ervin and Jade Hagan. Ervin had 13 digs, while Hagan had 11 digs and two assists. That's the most digs Ervin has posted since back in August. Kasey Mitchell also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Despite the loss, Defiance still got an impressive performance from Keira Kohn, who had ten aces and eight digs. Kohn is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Northview's record now sits at 13-8. As for Defiance, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season.

Northview will host Gilmour Academy at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Defiance, they will face off against Elida at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
