Basketball Recap: Rattan Piles Up the Points Against Tushka

Rattan won against Fort Towson on Tuesday with 73 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Rams simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Tushka Tigers 73-42. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Tushka's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Tucker Willis, who went 5-for-8 on his way to 12 points and five rebounds, and Cleat Zike, who shot 45% from the field en route to 13 points. Kason Hull was another key player, putting up six points.

Rattan's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Tushka, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Rattan will venture away from home to challenge Calera at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tushka, they will face off against Latta at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
