Football Recap: Northside - Jacksonville Monarchs vs. Hunt Warriors
Northside - Jacksonville and Hunt squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Northside - Jacksonville had to settle for second. They took a 20-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors. The Monarchs were down 20-0 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Hunt got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Mez Harris out in front who rushed for 76 yards on only nine carries, and also threw for 110 yards on only ten passes. Doryan Jones helped out on the ground, rushing for 98 yards and a rushing touchdown.
