Holy Ghost Prep waltzed into their matchup on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. Everything went their way against the Northwestern Lehigh Tigers as they made off with a 12-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Firebirds, who have now won 13 games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Bam McNabb looked comfortable as he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Holy Ghost Prep let Eddie Rosado and Matt Evans run wild. Rosado went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI, while Evans went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two doubles. Those three hits gave Evans a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Tyler Bergkoetter, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

Holy Ghost Prep always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .536. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Northwestern Lehigh only posted an OBP of .067.

Holy Ghost Prep's record is now 14-9. As for Northwestern Lehigh, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 16-10 record.

Holy Ghost Prep has already played their next contest, a 6-2 victory against Mid Valley on the 4th. Northwestern Lehigh does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
