Basketball Recap: Hueytown Golden Gophers vs. Brookwood Panthers

They took their contest at home on Saturday with ease, bagging a 80-39 win over Brookwood. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 48-17.

The team also got some help courtesy of Leland Foster, who scored seven points.
Hueytown pushed their record up to 16-14 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.0 points per game. Hueytown will be playing at home against the Yellowjackets at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in McAdory's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last 13 games. Brookwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
