Soccer Recap: St. David's Comes Up Short

The matchup between St. David and Carolina Friends on Friday hardly resembled the 2-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Warriors fell 5-3 to the Quakers. St. David's defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

They hit Carolina Friends with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Nicholas Fritzsche, Rebaona Zungu, and Giorgios Panagos.

St. David's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Carolina Friends, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. David's will challenge GRACE Christian at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. St. David's will be up against GRACE Christian's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.14 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Carolina Friends, they will face off against The O'Neal School at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
