Basketball Recap: Susquehanna Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Susquehanna had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a blow against the Northwest Area Rangers on Friday, falling 52-13. The Sabers' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row dating back to last season.

The victory (which was Northwest Area's fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Susquehanna does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Northwest Area will take on Millville in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Northwest Area's defense has only allowed 24.5 points per game this season, so Millville's offense will have their work cut out for them.
