Football Recap: Tomball Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last five matchups, Tomball finally came back down to earth on Friday. They took a blow against the Magnolia Bulldogs, falling 38-3. The contest marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Tomball didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Dayton Navy and Braeden Schneider. Schneider is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made five or more in each of the last ten games he's played dating back to last season. Trent Diffendal was another major factor on D, forcing one fumble and making 13 total tackles.

Tomball's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-2. As for Magnolia, their victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-1.
