Mountain View won the last time they faced Central Gwinnett and things went their way on Monday too. The Mountain View Bears walked away with a 9-5 victory over the Central Gwinnett Black Knights. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bears.

Mountain View saw nine different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Andrew Brech, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. That's the most runs Brech has posted since back in March of 2024. Grayson Weed also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Mountain View was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .382. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Mountain View's record is now 6-7. As for Central Gwinnett, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-11.

Coming up, Mountain View will host Northview at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mountain View will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last. As for Central Gwinnett, they are taking a road trip to take on Mountain View at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
