Basketball Game Preview: Bensalem Fighting Owls vs. Phoenixville Phantoms

The Bensalem Fighting Owls will head out on the road to square off against the Phoenixville Phantoms at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Bensalem took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They walked away with a 53-45 win over Neshaminy. The Fighting Owls have beaten the Skins the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Skins has come to flipping the script.

Amir Drummond continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, on his way to 29 points in addition to seven boards and three steals. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Aidan Mayfield, who posted eight points.

Meanwhile, Phoenixville didn't have too much trouble with Pennsbury on Friday as they won 67-52.

Phoenixville's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.0 points over those games. As for Bensalem, their win bumped their record up to 16-10.
