After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hoover, Chelsea was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Calera Eagles with a sharp 75-55 win. The Hornets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 20 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Calera still got an impressive performance from Kora Johnson, who posted 26 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddison Green, who scored 12 points.

Chelsea now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Calera, they moved to 6-3 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Chelsea will be playing in front of their home fans against Mountain Brook at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Calera, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 69-63 victory against Thompson on the 5th.
