After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. Tupelo will be strutting in after a win while Madison Central will be coming in after a defeat.
On Tuesday, Tupelo made easy work of Horn Lake and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Golden Wave.

Meanwhile, Madison Central faced Brandon in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Jaguars took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since August 9, 2023, but that streak is no more.
Madison Central couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Brandon a tough time in the second set. The final score came out to 25-11, 29-31, 25-23, 26-24.
Tupelo's win bumped their record up to 21-13. As for Madison Central, their loss dropped their record down to 25-10.
