Recap: Stevenson Pirates vs. Hollister Haybalers
The Stevenson Pirates were the 42-31 winner over the Hollister Haybalers when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Stevenson fell 54-45 to Hollister on Friday.
Despite the loss, Stevenson still got an impressive performance from Nile Glover, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds. Kekoa Williams was another key contributor, scoring 10 points.
Stevenson's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Hollister, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Stevenson's road trip will continue as they head out to face Alisal at 3:30 p.m. on December 2nd. Averaging 82.3 so far this season, Alisal's high-powered offense has been in full-swing lately, so Stevenson better be ready for a challenge. As for Hollister, they will take on Pioneer at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Pioneer presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Hollister in California (Pioneer is ranked 127th, while Hollister is ranked 358th).
