Baseball Recap: Otsego Comes Up Short

Otsego came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 11-1 to the Kalamazoo Central Maroon Giants. The game marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Otsego saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaydon Watson, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI. That double was Watson's first of the season.

Otsego's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Kalamazoo Central, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Maroon Giants beat Otsego by a score of 13-2 later that day.
