Union Area entered their tilt with Summit Academy on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Knights a 16-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 15-0 on Monday.

Union Area's victory bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Summit Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Union Area will take on Our Lady of the Sacred Heart at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
