Falls Lake's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They never let the South Granville Vikings get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory. This was a revenge game for the Firebirds: when they faced off against the Vikings last Monday, they had to take a 6-1 loss.

The team relied heavily on Ethan Potts, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (two). Kace Obriant was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

Falls Lake moved to 2-3 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for South Granville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
