Lecanto is a perfect 10-0 against Central since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Panthers will head out on the road to challenge the Bears at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

While Panthers fans will have to keep waiting for their squad to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Tuesday's season opener. They walked away with a 44-37 win over Dunnellon on Tuesday. The game was the first time the Panthers have beaten the Tigers on their court since January 29, 2019.

Meanwhile, Central gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They took down Pasco 34-20.

Everything came up roses for Lecanto against Central when the teams last played back in January, as the team secured a 57-13 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
