Soccer Recap: Columbus Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Columbus was the 3-0 winner over Somerset Academy when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Explorers fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 2-1 on Thursday.

Columbus' goal came courtesy of Lek Rodriguez, who's now up to two this season.

Columbus' loss dropped their record down to 2-2-1. As for Somerset Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3-2.

Columbus and Somerset Academy will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Explorers see the pitch they'll take on Archbishop Carroll at 7:00 p.m. on December 2. As for Somerset Academy, their break will end when they face Cooper City at 3:30 p.m. on December 1.
