Volleyball Recap: South Aiken Baptist Christian Comes Up Short

South Aiken Baptist Christian lost against Community Christian Academy back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The CRUSADERS lost 3-0 to the Ambassadors. The CRUSADERS have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

South Aiken Baptist Christian took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-15, 25-21.

Olivia Bateman paced South Aiken Baptist Christian's offense, picking up three kills. Bateman got some help from Bella Bailey and her seven assists. Finally, Lauren Holley kept South Aiken Baptist Christian's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

South Aiken Baptist Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9-1. As for Community Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 15-3.

Looking ahead, South Aiken Baptist Christian will square off against Mead Hall Episcopal School at 4:30 p.m. on the 16th. As for Community Christian Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against King Academy on the 7th.
