The Carrabec Cobras will venture away from home to face off against the Richmond Bobcats at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Carrabec is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.1 runs per game this season.
Things were looking good for Carrabec after they put the first run on the board on Wednesday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell 8-5 to Telstar.

Karen Baker made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. She has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times she's played. Lilly Kinney also deserves some recognition as she got her first hits of the season.
Vinalhaven hit Richmond with a five-run sixth inning on Saturday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Bobcats took an 11-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vikings. Bobcats fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Vikings since Saturday.
Kaelyn Brillant was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four stolen bases, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Ella Savage, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
Richmond's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Carrabec, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Wednesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Carrabec has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.6 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Richmond struggles in that department as they've been averaging 10.5 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Everything went Carrabec's way against Richmond in their previous matchup back in June of 2025, as Carrabec made off with a 16-6 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cobras since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
