Father Lopez headed into their last matchup having not scored more than one goal for three straight, but Lake Mary Prep let them put that streak behind them. Father Lopez never let Lake Mary Prep onto the board and left with a 7-0 win on Wednesday. Considering the Green Wave's offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Meanwhile, Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy entered their game against Cypress Bay back in December of 2024 without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy fell 2-0 to Cypress Bay. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 59th, while the Lightning are ranked eighth).

Father Lopez's victory bumped their record up to 2-5-3. As for Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-3-1.
