Basketball Recap: Morgantown Christian Academy's Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak on the Road

If Morgantown Christian Academy was riding high fresh off their 72-13 takedown of Blair County Christian last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Morgantown Christian Academy Mustangs fell 50-42 to Grace Christian on Friday. The Mustangs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Grace Christian apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Morgantown Christian Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Collin Lemley, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 14 boards. Those 14 rebounds gave Lemley a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Cade Spicer, who posted ten points.

Morgantown Christian Academy's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 2-1. As for Grace Christian, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-3.
