Cathedral had already won 12 in a row and they went ahead and made it 13 on Friday. They came out on top against the Lincoln-Way West Warriors by a score of 2-0.

Cathedral's offense was headlined by Owen Peterson and Jaden Greenwell, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Nick Whitley and his 14 assists. Quinn Braun controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Cathedral's win bumped their record up to 18-2. As for Lincoln-Way West, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-12.

Cathedral wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Hinsdale Central on the 2nd. As for Lincoln-Way West, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against West Aurora on the 3rd.
