Softball Game Preview: Chattooga Indians vs. Fannin County Rebels

The Chattooga Indians will square off against the Fannin County Rebels at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Chattooga will be strutting in after a victory while Fannin County will be coming in after a loss.

Chattooga took a loss when they played away from home last Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They came out on top against Coosa by a score of 5-1.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Fannin County's offense. They lost 14-0 to Gordon Lee on Wednesday. The Rebels just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Chattooga has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.6 runs over those games. As for Fannin County, their loss dropped their record down to 9-7.

Chattooga took their victory against Fannin County in their previous matchup on September 4th by a conclusive 6-0 score. Do the Indians have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Rebels turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
