Baseball Recap: McKeel Academy Wildcats vs. Robinson Knights

McKeel Academy extended their postseason success on Wednesday against Robinson. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Robinson Knights a 5-0 shutout.

The result came thanks to Caleb Clanton's shutout, as he gave up just one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't pitched less than five innings in nine consecutive pitching appearances.

On the hitting side, KJ Scobey was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Joseph Mills, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.

On Robinson's side, they got a good showing from Santiago Rojas, who tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
