Flag Football Recap: Apache Junction Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Apache Junction's offense. They fell 13-0 to the Leading Edge Academy - GEC Spartans on Tuesday.

Leading Edge Academy - GEC found their leader in sophomore Corynn Foster, who picked up 176 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. Those 176 receiving yards set a new season-high mark for Foster.

Apache Junction's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Leading Edge Academy - GEC, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Apache Junction wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 47-0 loss against Gilbert Christian on the 27th. As for Leading Edge Academy - GEC, they have also already played their next game, a 13-0 defeat against Benjamin Franklin on the 23rd.
