Basketball Game Preview: Highland Park Scots vs. Lake Highlands Wildcats + How To Watch

The Highland Park Scots will venture away from home to face off against the Lake Highlands Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Tuesday, Highland Park ended up a good deal behind Allen and lost 84-65. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (61), the Scots still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Lake Highlands took on Mansfield Summit on Tuesday. The Wildcats fell 55-46 to the Jaguars. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lake Highlands' loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Highland Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Highland Park and Lake Highlands were neck-and-neck in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, but Highland Park came up empty-handed after a 52-51 loss. Can the Scots avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
