Football Recap: Kendrick Comes Up Short

Kendrick fell victim to Shaw and their airtight defense on Friday. They had to suffer through a 32-0 loss at the hands of the Raiders. The Cherokees have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kendrick now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Shaw, they moved to 2-7 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Kendrick will venture away from home to square off against Carver at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers' defense has only allowed 5.7 points per game this season, so the Cherokees' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Shaw, they will welcome Jordan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Raiders will be up against the Red Jackets' rather soft defense (which has allowed 52.78 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
