Lake Park won the last time they faced Wheaton North and things went their way on Friday too. The Lancers skirted past the Falcons 5-3.
Kaylee Fritzler was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over 5.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Marissa Marciniak, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2025. Reese Nolbertowicz was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
