Baseball Recap: Wayne Falls to Man in First Game of Season

Wayne unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Man Hillbillies on Friday, falling 10-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Pioneers have suffered since March 11, 2024.

Brady Dyer was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 3-for-3. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024.

Man now has a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Wayne will welcome Scott at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Wayne's pitchers better be ready for this one: Scott has averaged an impressive 11 runs per game this season. As for Man, they will take on Sherman at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
