Soccer Game Preview: Northview vs. Charter Oak

Northview is 0-9 against Charter Oak since November of 2015 but things could change on Thursday. The Northview Vikings will venture away from home to square off against the Charter Oak Chargers at 5:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Northview fought the good fight in their overtime contest against West Covina on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 3-2. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alexis Rivera and Jaylene Esteves scored both of Northview's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Meanwhile, Charter Oak came up short against Wilson on Tuesday, falling 6-3.

Charter Oak has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Northview, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5-1.
