Volleyball Recap: Ketcham Takes a Loss

Ketcham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Arlington Admirals. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Storm have suffered since October 22, 2024.

Ketcham was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-17, 25-16.

Julia Martin paced Ketcham's offense, picking up ten kills. Martin got some help from Ariel Rosenquest and her eight assists. Emily Faust controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Among those leading the charge was Alyssa Reilly, who had eight digs and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last 11 matches.

Ketcham's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Arlington, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-8-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Ketcham is set to take on their familiar foe John Jay at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Arlington will square off against rival North Rockland at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
