Basketball Recap: Clearwater Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Ari Tirado and Keshawn Andrews

Clearwater was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 46-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Berkeley Prep Buccaneers. The contest marked the Tornadoes' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Clearwater's loss came despite strong showings from Keshawn Andrews and Ari Tirado. Andrews went 6 of 14 on his way to 14 points and three steals, while Tirado posted ten points and five rebounds.

Clearwater's loss dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Berkeley Prep, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-10.

Clearwater has already played their next matchup, a 64-55 win against Dunedin on the 29th. As for Berkeley Prep, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 51-22 victory against Seffner Christian on the 30th.
