Football Recap: Cedar Valley Comes Up Short

Cedar Valley had lost eight straight at home dating back to last season, but on Thursday they dropped down to 1-8 to make it nine. They were beaten by the Herriman Mustangs 56-6. Having soared to a lofty 41 points in the game before, the Aviators couldn't push the score so high this time.

As for Herriman, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-1. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by 20 points or more this season.

Herriman was led to victory by Tyler Messer and Felisi Felipe. Messer rushed for 76 yards and one touchdown on only six carries, while Felipe rushed for 67 yards and a pair of TDs on only six carries.

As of now, neither Cedar Valley nor the Mustangs have any future games scheduled.
