Volleyball Recap: Carlisle County Comes Up Short

If Carlisle County was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Fulton City two weeks ago, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Comets fell just short of the Mayfield Cardinals by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Comets have struggled against the Cardinals recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Carlisle County's loss dropped their record down to 15-11. As for Mayfield, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 18-5.

Carlisle County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mayfield, they will be playing at home against Fulton County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
