Softball Recap: Blacksburg Bruins vs. Pulaski County Cougars

Blacksburg stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Pulaski County Cougars as the Blacksburg Bruins made off with a 13-3 victory. The win was nothing new for Blacksburg as they're now sitting on three straight.

The team relied heavily on Lindsey Polan, who went 3-for-5 with a home run, three runs, and four RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Madelyn Williams, who scored four runs while going 2-for-4.

On Pulaski County's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Morgan Vest, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Blacksburg's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-3. As for Pulaski County, they have not been sharp recently as the team has lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.
