Football Recap: Rolling Meadows Skates Past West Chicago with Ease

After low-scoring totals in their previous three contest, Rolling Meadows brought some dynamite into their most recent match. They claimed a resounding 38-6 win over the West Chicago Wildcats. Given the Mustangs' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 44th, while the Wildcats are ranked 185th) , the win on Saturday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Rolling Meadows' victory bumped their record up to 8-6. As for West Chicago, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-9.

Rolling Meadows wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 18-13 defeat against St. Charles North on the 20th. As for West Chicago, they will square off against Bartlett at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats will be up against the Hawks' rather soft defense (which has allowed 38.3 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
