Ignacio gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Dolores Bears as Ignacio made off with a 13-3 victory. For the Bobcats, this counts as revenge for the 12-2 win the Bears walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2019.

Cole W made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He tossed 3.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off one hit. W was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

In other batting news, Ignacio got a big performance out of William M, who scored three runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Easton S, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Dolores' defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Looking ahead, Ignacio will face off against Monte Vista at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. Monte Vista's pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so Ignacio's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Dolores, they will take on Page in a tournament on Thursday.
