Football Game Preview: Dibble Demons vs. Comanche Indians

The Dibble Demons will challenge the Comanche Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Dibble has four straight wins, Comanche has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Dibble lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Community Christian, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's contest. The Demons simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Royals 48-7. That 41 point margin sets a new team best for the Demons this season.

Dibble's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tucker Skipper, who threw for 176 yards and three TDs on only eight passes, and also punched in one touchdown on the ground. Skipper also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making two total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defending one pass in addition to snagging an interception. Wyatt Malchaski helped Skipper out on the ground, rushing for 133 yards and one score.

Dibble was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 292 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 269 rushing yards in four consecutive matchups.

Dibble didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Gannon Malchaski and Skipper.

Meanwhile, Comanche was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 26-21 to Coalgate.

Dibble's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Comanche, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Everything came up roses for Dibble against Comanche in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 48-7 victory. Will the Demons repeat their success, or do the Indians have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
