Sikeston waltzed into their contest on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 16-1 margin over the New Madrid County Central Eagles. For the Bulldogs, this counts as revenge for the 11-3 win the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Sikeston's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for New Madrid County Central, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Coming up, Sikeston will venture away from home to take on Poplar Bluff at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will need to watch out since the Mules have now posted at least ten runs in their last six games. As for New Madrid County Central, they will challenge Malden at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
