Volleyball Recap: Valley Lutheran Falls to Madrid in First Game of Season

Valley Lutheran had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 2-0 to the Madrid Tigers on Saturday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it 15 in a row.

The win got Madrid back to even at 2-2.

Coming up, Valley Lutheran is taking a road trip to square off against Aplington-Parkersburg at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Madrid, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against West Central on the 30th.
