On Friday, Wilkinson County are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Raymond . Wilkinson County have the odds in their favor, so they'll need to guard against complacency.
Wilkinson County were fully in charge last Friday, breezing past Amite County 58-0. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 33-0.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 6-53, which was the final score in Raymond's tilt against Mendenhall last week. Raymond were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-40.
Wilkinson County's win lifted them to 1-1 while Raymond's loss dropped them down to 0-2. We'll find out if Wilkinson County can add another positive mark to their record or if Raymond can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Wilkinson County's step.
