Basketball Recap: University Wildcats vs. Hamilton Yankees

University was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a hard 71-52 fall against the Hamilton Yankees. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Yankees from their previous meeting back in January of 2024.

Despite the loss, University still got an impressive performance from Kahmron Hill, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 13 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Syrus Azarbarzin, who posted ten points and five assists.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hamilton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Garrett Anderson, who almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine boards. Alan Tashlyk was another key player, going 5 of 12 on his way to 13 points.

University's loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Hamilton, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-13.
