Basketball Recap: Lee Park Prep Piles Up the Points Against Statesville Christian

Lee Park Prep's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They blew past the Statesville Christian Lions, posting an 84-49 victory. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Knights' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Lee Park Prep had a senior duo take command as Isaac Watkins dropped a double-double with 22 points and ten assists and Cole O' Donoghue shot 71% from the field to rack up 26 points and three steals. Watkins has been hot recently, having posted eight or more assists the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Aiden Arant, who posted seven points in addition to nine boards and five steals.
