Volleyball Recap: William Floyd Comes Up Short

William Floyd was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Bay Shore Marauders, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Marauders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-18, 25-10.

William Floyd's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Bay Shore, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-3-1.

William Floyd does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bay Shore, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Longwood on the 20th.
