Football Game Preview: Caddo Mills Foxes vs. Bonham Warriors

Caddo Mills is a perfect 3-0 against Bonham since November of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Foxes will host the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. Caddo Mills will be strutting in after a victory while Bonham will be coming in after a loss.

On Friday, Caddo Mills was fully in charge, breezing past Farmersville 40-10. The result was nothing new for the Foxes, who have now won three contests by 30 points or more so far this season.

Wyatt Watson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 105 yards and a pair of scores. He also punched in two rushing touchdowns, which is notable because Caddo Mills is undefeated when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 2-3 otherwise. Kollin Heath also helped out with an impressive 113 receiving yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Caddo Mills was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 202 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2024.

Meanwhile, Bonham was not able to break out of their rough patch last Friday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against Farmersville, falling 55-19. The Warriors were down 55-13 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

The win made it two in a row for Caddo Mills and bumps their season record up to 5-3. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 44.0 points over those games. As for Bonham, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Everything came up roses for Caddo Mills against Bonham when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 43-10 win. Will the Foxes repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
