Football Game Preview: Tolman Tigers vs. South Kingstown Rebels

The Tolman Tigers will take on the South Kingstown Rebels at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Tolman is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Rhode Island's top teams: Woonsocket, who was ranked 17th at the time (Tolman was ranked 20th). The Tigers were just a hair shy of victory on Thursday and fell 21-20 to the Villa Novans. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lopes. Angel put forth a good effort for the losing side as he rushed for 67 yards and one touchdown on only nine carries.

Meanwhile, South Kingstown strolled past East Providence with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 21-6. The Rebels haven't had any issues with the Townies recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

South Kingstown's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Tolman, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.
